Nest of Voices

Four nights of vocal concerts – eclectic, intimate and sublime – all held in a marvellous large yurt at The Nest, Ledbury, Herefordshire, a remarkable café, plant centre and place of events.

This year we are featuring acappella music from all over Europe. We start with the wonderful Nordic folk music of Akervinda, choral songs from the wonderful, eclectic classical Cotswold Canal Singers, last year’s sell out kings of comedy and close harmony Men in General, and the male voice sounds of the the Hereford Police Male Voice Choir.

Last year our first Nest of Voices was absolutely delightful celebration of the  human voice in all its remarkable variation. If you came last year then this year brings more, and if you didn’t then come and experience the voice in our marvellous yurt setting.

More About Nest of Voices

The human voice is a marvellous thing creating a huge range of sounds, powerful, soft, funny, rollicking and often overwhelming. So, in the wonderful setting of a 100 seat yurt in rural Herefordshire we wanted to set up a series of concerts to experience the breadth of the voice in all its forms.

In small groups or in large choirs the human voice is just remarkable and here you will experience it in all its strange ways. Our singers are unamplified so you can hear all the nuances of the voice.

In combination with the lovely sounds we are also offering pre-concert dining and a fab bar to enable you to make the most of your evening, so why not join us at one, some or all of our four concerts. Places are limited to 100 each night so please book early.
